A shortage of tchotchkes ....

New Comdex to have less flash. I've only been to Comdex once and one of the most fun parts was picking up all the stuff at every booth. This is kinda sad. Maybe I won't go this year.

Two years ago on this day, I woke up, took a shower, went downstairs and flipped on the TV before I left for work. On the news they were showing the planes hitting the towers and I ran upstairs to tell Shireen. I had to leave to go to Polly's Bakery Cafe in Santa Ana because it was Will's birthday and the supervisors were going to buy him breakfast. I wasn't very hungry so I only ordered toast - It didn't feel right to be eating breakfast there that day.
