Things I Hate

Peel and Eat Shrimp. What is more disgusting than peel and eat shrimp? Nothing.

When you think Croatia....

Think Hooters!

Half-Life 2 Walkthrough

It's a Half-Life 2: Walkthrough! It's far from complete, but it looks good!

STEAM

Last Christmas Shireen's Dad bought a new ATI 9800 XT video card and he gave me the "Free Half-Life 2" coupon that was in the box. Now, almost a year later, the game is finally going to be released. I could have used the coupon to send away for a retail CD, but I chose to sign up for STEAM , the on-line game service that serves all of Valve's games. When I put in the coupon activation code not only did I get Half-Life 2, I got access to the following games: Counter Strike: Source Half-Life (the original) Counter-Strike Team Fortress Classic Deathmatch Classic Opposing Force Ricochet Day of Defeat Codename Gordon Most of these games are way old - and it shows, but they are still kind of fun to play. Half-Life 2 won't be "activated" until Nov. 16, but all the content has been pre-downloaded so I can play as soon as it's released.

Hooters VIP Wing Party!

On Saturday we went to a charity dinner/silent auction thing with our neighbors. We bid on, and won, the Hooters VIP Wing Party gift certificate. You get all-you-can-eat wings for two hours for 10 people at the Newport Beach location. They put some pretty restrictive limitations on the days and times you can use it but all-you-can-eat wings for 10 people for only $50 is a pretty good deal. Heartburn , here I come!

Was Darwin Wrong?

NO . Man , this is good stuff .

Office Hijinks

The BSOD Screen Saver authentically simulates blue screen of death crashes and subsequent reboots of your computer.

Gmail Agent API

The Gmail Agent API - Mail Notifier & Address Book Importer is nice because it supports *multiple* Gmail addresses.

This about sums it up.
