Vegas countdown...

In July we are Vegas bound, but this time with the kids. This time we are going for FIVE days, which will be the longest we've ever stayed there. For the first two nights we are staying at the Mandalay Bay and then we are moving to the Hyatt - Lake Las Vegas for the remaining three nights. The Hyatt has a "kids club" that should allow Shireen and I to escape for some gaming for a few hours, so that will be nice. If only we could skip the drive...flying isn't that expensive, but we need a car anyway to drive out to the Hyatt and it's just easier to take your own car.

It's kinda ha ha funny....

But it's also kinda pathetic and sad.

Schwinn Sting-Ray

I had one of the originals when I was a kid. The new one looks freaky with that huge back tire!

While Shireen's away...

The Dad and Kids play! Shireen is going to a bridal shower so I'm going to take the kids somewhere fun today. There's a new play place over in the Mission Viejo Kaleidoscope center. There's a small bounce house, a gravity ball constrution wall, two climb and slide structures and the huge, ball area with cannons, slingshots and all sorts of vaccuum hoses that deliver the balls around. It costs 11 dollars per kid . That's pretty expensive for a few hours of play, but it was fun and the kids did get tired. There's a photo in the wireless section...
